About The Retreat

Nestled in serene and picturesque settings in Sicily, our all-inclusive retreats feature expert guidance from psychotherapists, counsellors, and coaches. Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help people rediscover their self-worth and inner peace through the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy. We offer a safe, restorative space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. Guided by trained therapists, this retreat combines evidence-based therapeutic practices with mindful awareness, gentle movement, and connection to nature. Our goal is for each person to leave feeling renewed—grounded in self-acceptance, strengthened by understanding, and confident in their ability to move through life with compassion and authenticity. 


Morning Activities
After a mindful movement exercise of very light stretching, we all have a silent breakfast to prepare ourselves for a group activity each day, which includes art therapy, assertiveness and confidence training, reframing, mindfulness teaching, or shadow integration, led by our psychotherapists and coaches until lunch at 1pm.
Afternoon
After lunch our afternoon is made up of 1-2-1 individual sessions with a counsellor on your personal and private issues, poolside relaxation, snacks and drinks, reading. and thoughts of our daily mind frames.
Evening
Experience transformation in the company of compassionate experts.
Our evenings start at 6pm with a group discussion on the day's mind frame until dinner is served at 7:30pm.
Then we head out to an idyllic location by the beach for a beautiful evening of mindful walking and meditation. Wednesday evening we head out to a panoramic Italian restaurant by the sea front. and explore the old town of Castellammare del Golfo.
Considerations

Our retreats offer a warm and nurturing environment for anyone seeking to rebuild self-esteem, strengthen inner resilience, and rediscover balance in the midst of life’s challenges. Surrounded by calm and care, you’ll find the support and tools you need to grow, heal, and move forward with confidence.  These retreats are ideal for individuals experiencing mild depression and anxiety, OCD, bereavement, codependency, or challenges with assertiveness and conflict avoidance. They are also a wonderful opportunity for couples wishing to deepen communication, restore intimacy, and strengthen their emotional connection. Whether you’re navigating personal struggles or simply craving serenity, peace, and stress release, our retreats are open to all adults aged 18 and over who wish to invest in their emotional well-being. While our retreats provide a deeply restorative experience, we are unable to accommodate individuals with severe or complex mental health conditions. If you are facing a serious mental health concern, we encourage you to seek support and guidance from your GP or a qualified mental health professional. Please note that our retreats are not suitable for those currently working through drug addictions. However, our team may be able to offer assistance through our private practice—please feel free to contact us directly to explore this further.

  • 2 single beds with a private bathroom. Note: only 2 twin rooms available. Price is for 2 people sharing

No fish or meat will be served during the retreat except if ordered on Wednesday restaurant night. Our private chef cooks local vegetarian meals with local vegetables, pulses, cheeses, fruit, breads, and cakes, along with local wine and beers. (Vegans can also be catered for.) All guests are invited to keep their rooms tidy as they like, as there are no maids; clean towels are provided if needed in the laundry room. Anyone wishing to stay Sunday evening is very welcome, perhaps to explore and do whatever you like, although your room will need to be vacated by 10am on the Monday. It may be nice to leave us silent during our breakfast for our mindful practice and see what happens. Please be respectful of others and no noise after 11pm Please understand the importance of keeping our mobiles phones on silent during all sessions 

The Mindercise retreat program has daily mind frames. Our daily mind frame is a mental attitude or aim we may choose to maintain throughout the day; it's like deciding how you want to show up—with presence, compassion, patience, inquiry, and curiosity. 
Consider it as a mental anchor. It encourages you to respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically. A mental frame (or mindset) is significant because it influences how you see the world, deal with obstacles, and make decisions. It serves as a lens, influencing your thoughts, habits, and even your results. Tuesday: Understanding and Calmness. Wednesday: Child's Mind and Trust. Thursday: Acceptance and goal setting.  Friday: Releasing, Saturday: Appreciation. Sunday: Unselfishness.

Please arrive on Monday for your transfer from Palermo Airport to the retreat.

Alternatively, if you hire a car, £100 will be taken off the final payment. 

Your room must be vacated by 10am on the Monday. If you would like to stay longer at the Villa, you are welcome to contact Casa Azul in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, via booking.com 

Please make sure you have travel insurance that will cover you for Italy.

  • A deposit of £750.00 is needed to secure your Mindercise retreat.
  • This helps us prepare your time and space with intention.
  • Once your deposit is received, your booking will be confirmed.
  • Deposit Policy: Retreat deposits are nonrefundable if you cancel your spot. If, however, we have to cancel the retreat, we'll make sure your full deposit is promptly refunded.
